Employees of the Institute of Archaeology participate in teaching at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level of archaeology studies at universities in Croatia. The specializations of the Institute's employees are most often related to certain periods of the human past, and through postgraduate education and work on scientific projects experts are profiled on certain topics (funeral customs, architecture, mosaics, defence systems, forts, burgs, workshop centres, holy places, analytical processing findings). The specific knowledge that the employees of the Institute have is the reason for frequent mentorships in graduate and doctoral studies, as well as membership in the commissions for the defence of topics and doctoral theses.
